Howdy folks. =D
My hubby and I are on vacation for the week. It had actually started on Friday, but we just now finally got to sit down long enough to relax. XD
Friday started, and we took a couple of planes to Indiana. Soon as we’re off the plane we get to my bro in-law’s house, change clothes, and head for my niece’s graduation. And that was our Friday.
Yesterday we got to spend the day at the post-graduation party, which was fun. Hung out with the family chatting about random crap while eating the awesome party food.

When I first saw the scene pictured in the first screenshot above, my jaw just about dropped.
I was like “Oh my God! I have something that Lupin has!”
And then Fujiko took it from him and pointed it at her own head. And I’m all like “Dude, you’re just gonna burn yourself.”
And then she pulled the hammer… And instead of fire, there was water. O_o
…I’m like “WHAAAAAAT? No! Wrong! All wrong!” D:<
I’m just kidding, of course. Though I was surprised by it because even before I realized the shape of the gun, I thought it was a lighter from the start when Jigen got it from that festival game with that toy he gave to that girl. They probably made it a water pistol cuz it’d be funnier than having Fujiko light her own hair on fire. :P
But anyway, yeah….. Green fire is fun. :D
And for the record, no I don’t smoke. I use it to light incense. ;)

This one was a really good one. MUCH better than the previous episodes have been.
I think we’re finally starting to get to the meat of Fujiko’s freaky-acid-trip backstory in this one, but I won’t know until I see the subs, which I won’t be able to this week cuz I’ll be out of town. :<
Before I continue with my pre-review of the episode, I’m just gonna say that I probably won’t be doing screenshots of next week’s episode due to the fact that I will be over a thousand miles away from my computer. =P
I might still do them after I get back home that Friday, but I think that’ll depend on how good the episode is. See if it’s worth downloading the raw even after watching the subs. =P
But anyway back to the episode.
LOVE this episode. Lots of Jigen being a softy in this episode. He seems to be a real sucker for damsels in distress.
Though unlike most cases, it seems like Jigen’s affection for this girl wasn’t the romantic kind. It seemed more like a “guardian angel” type of dealy.
Also, this may be because I’m a big Muppet nerd, but as soon as I saw this girl first appear on that stage, my first thought was “Lydia the Tattooed Lady”.
……Yeah, I know. I’m retarded. =P
Anyway, I’m also really loving the chemistry between Jigen and Lupin here. Jigen’s still keeping his distance, but Lupin already acts like they’ve known each other for years.
I may be seeing more than there is because of the language barrier, but that’s what it looks like to me. :3
It sucks that I have to wait more than a week before I can see this episode with subtitles, but oh well. On the upside, I’ll have two episodes to watch when I get home. =P
And lastly…. I have that gun too. See?
